Our first step is to gain a comprehensive understanding as to what would be ideal for your website, and what you want. Once we are satisfied that we know what you want, there are three key stages in the creation of a website. Design, development, hosting.
How much will it cost? As a guide, a small website can cost anywhere from $400-$1200, and a larger developed website would usually be $2000+ (all prices in NZ$). As every website is unique, we can't provide an accurate quote until you contact us.
Here is the basic breakdown of each service.
We create intial concepts for you to tell us what you like. Then we will develop and refine your website until you are satisfied. We can work with your current branding, or create new branding for you. You provide the content, and we will offer copy writing help.
We craft an ideal site architecture, and make sure that all your pages are accessable and usable. We utilize Cascading Style Sheets, which enable us to separate the content from the design, and we make sure that the website is up-to-date with web standards.
Examples of what development can do:
We utilize the latest technologies, including PHP, mySQL, Javascript, XML (yes, we do AJAX), and Ruby. We enjoy programming, and always create elegant solutions. Let us know what you want!
Once your website is ready to go live, we will give you a 20% discount voucher, and pass you along to the lovely folks at Intermeep Web Hosting. Call us biased :-), but we want your website to perform the best it can. We will not end our relationship at this point - we can do additional work on your website at our standard hourly rate ($70 per hour), and any small tweaks for free.
